Divine Arts of Sword Fighting


Name: Art of Phenix

Description: This stance is the simplest of the stances; this is when the user has his sword still inside the sheath. Yes this may leave you open but will give some good effect. The stance is mainly help with knees bent slightly, and then having your right hand on the sword and left on sheath. You can execute many different types of combo without even drawing your sword into battle. Instead you can just knock your opponent out if needed or necessary for a mission.


Name: Art of Bear


Description: Now this technique requires no sheath this is when you drop your sheath. And have both hands upon the sword making your attacks more devastating but more visible to the enemy. Even though you don’t do allot of quick strike combo with this blade you can always just do hard and powerful attacks that will either kill or severely hurt the enemy by the time you are done. This stance is slow but powerful.

Name: Art of Judgement

Description: This stance is very unlikely but helps in some small situations. This is when the user puts the sword on top of their shoulder. This is for mainly attacks you know your going to hit someone with. The only way you can swing is either down or diagonal. This also makes it more obvious than Art of Bear, but if let us say a boulder is coming after u go into this stance and cut it in half with ease. This stance is HARDLY if not EVER used into a battle, because of slow and inefficient way of fighting.

Name: Art of Dragon

Description: This stance is the most popular because it is not only fast but you can execute many different combos with this one stance. This is when the user has one had on sword and the other on sheath much like phoenix but only difference is that the sword is not sheathed. Now you can block attacks with sheath and come back with powerful counters with the other hand. Or you can swing fast with sheathe and stab with sword. This stance is very deadly and very fast most common in fights you see today.

Name: Blunt End Strike

Range: Short
Description: This strike is when the user gets into the Art of Phoenix stance and when the enemy gets close they hit them with the bottom of the sheath, which is metal. This can cause the enemy to stumble or even lose an eye if you have good aim. Used as a first strike in most battles to wound the enemy in an important vital spot that doesn't need to be hit.

Name: Block (sheath)

Range: Short
Description: Ok now this is a common move in almost all stances but it is different between them all. The difference between this one that that they will block with the sheath, without sword drawn this makes it easier to punch or kick the enemy back for a quick second while you regain yourself. This move is basic if not required to know if you don’t want to get hurt allot. This move will and can be used allot in battle, if needed.

Name: Sheath strike
Rank: 4
Range: Short
Description: This is when the user hits with sheath; it is self explanatory, and easy to use. With enough force you could possible break a bone or something, but it is not fatal in any sort of way. This makes this move very easy to handle .

Name: Sheath Strangle
Rank: 4
Range: Grapple
Description: Ok this technique is VERY unlikely also mainly because the user will have to come up behind the enemy. Not only that but wrap the sheath around their neck then press hard with their knee making them strangle and possibly die. This can also be a capture move on anyone that is easy enough to use on. Warning the person you use it on many just have a trick up his/her sleeve if used, USE WITH CAITION.

Art of Bear


Name: Bear Strike
Rank: 4
Range: Short
Description: Ok with the sword in both hands this makes the user hit hard and not that slow really. This is when the user moves forward with knees bent and arms out to strike. In a straight and strong line this could even break some shields. Only problem is that the move requires you to hit straight which means it is very obvious on whom you will hit and where.

Name: Bear Kick and Strike

Range: Short
Description: This move is fun and very easy to accomplish with nice results. This is when the user kicks with his leg in any direction then with the same force bring his katana down striking the enemy before he has a chance to regain himself. This move if blocked can still be hit by katana, so it is best just to roll out of the way, if it is coming at you.

Name: Bear roll & stab

Rank: 4
Range: Short
Description: This move is very useful when dodging attacks and want to get a quick counter into the battle before your enemy has chance to strike again. This is when you dodge the enemy attack then use the roll force to stab upward to the enemy; you try to his vital organs if you produce this move in a battle. This move is nice and simple for most people the only problem is getting the rolling time and forces to be just right.

Name: Bear Throw

Range: Short
Description: Now this move is very not good but in some situations it can be helpful. This is when the user throws his sword in a straight line at the enemy. Now this move is helpful if you know were the enemy will be located. Now it also can be used as a distraction while you run at the enemy and punch him. Either method works but hitting them with the katana is more than better.

Name: Force Impact

Range: Short
Description: This jutsu is helpful when making a nice little trap for the enemy. See what happens is that you apply tremendous force on the sword so that when it hits the ground the ground will break creating holes the holes are more like big cracks in the ground. Now you can use these holes to hide in or set traps. You can also use this move to destroy large objects in your way. Enough power to break the ground or someone’s bones.

Name: Force Blast
Rank: 8
Range: Long
Description: Now this technique can follow Force Impact if not it is still fine. This is when you hit the ground and makes a shock way shoot at the enemy. Now this can be used to stop long range users thinking they have the edge because you are short range. This can cause major damage and leave you wide open for attacks. So like I say use with caution. The maximum range is only 10 meters before it stops. The power of it has enough to only weakly hurt an enemy maybe a few marks but nothing big. This is basically to stop genjutsu or puppeteers if possible.

Name: Block Slice

Range: Short
Description: This move is super fast and super effective to the user and helps get an edge. If the enemy is using a melee weapon like sword or even a staff. This is when you block with your sheath then come from the side with your sword. This can wound the enemy in many ways than one. Like you can cut of their head or even legs. This move is in fact recommended between users. This move is super fast and super effective to the user and helps get an edge. If the enemy is using a melee weapon like sword or even a staff. Name: 7 Stike Combo

Range: Short
Description: This 7 strike combo Zetsume himself created while being bored one day and decided this would be fun. Ok first he goes into the Art of Dragon stance. Then he hits once with sheath on the side of stomach while his leg of opposite side catches him and throws him the other way. The user runs forward picks up the victim and throws him into the air with a sheath hit. Next you jump up in the air and Stab straight through the stomach or torso. Then kick and slide blade out, on the way down grab him by the feet and sling him down. Then you push off of the air current with some chakra and finish with a nice clean stab was you land on him finishing the combo.
1. Sheath smack
2. Leg Kick
3. Sheath hit into the air
4. Stab
5. Leg kick slide blade out
6. Foot grab sling down to ground
7. Force stab him while he is on the ground
